Oman's Public Establishment for Industrial Estate (PEIE) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Malaysia's Halal Development Corp (HDC) to develop the halal industry in the Sultanate, Muscat Daily has reported. Under the agreement, HDC is to provide technical assistance and training for the development of a halal food industrial park to be set up in Oman.
