On the 31st of January 2010, the Netherlands Islamic Broadcasting Network NIO, broadcast a television programme about Halal food and Halal inspections in the Netherlands.

The NIO did, among other, a critical investigation into the standards and the performance of three Halal institutions in the Netherlands, namely: 

 

HIC of Wahid Halal products and certifier of Halal products, among which products of Albert Hein 

HQC /daughter of HALAL OFFICE, certifier of Halal products, among which products of Albert Hein and Halal wine.
