Halal Applicants are required to apply the Halal Certificate with their respective Certification Bodies directly. "Apply Halal Certificate" section provides the guideline for the first timer applicants to apply Halal Certification from different Certification Bodies across the world. The following guideline shows the general workflow to apply the Halal Certificate and provides the overview process to comply with Halal Certificate Application process.

Step 1 |
Register Online
Create an account on the Halal Certification Body website/portal and login with your ID and password. |

Step 2 |
Fill Out Form
Complete the Halal certification Application online form accordingly. |

Step 3 |
Compile Supporting Documents
Compile all relevant supporting document and certificates. Click here to search and download authentic Halal certificates with Halal Verified Engine. |  |

Step 4 |
Submit Application
Once all supporting documents are compiled, submit together with completed application form. If form or supporting document sare incomplete, repeat step 3 and resubmit. |

Step 5 |
Make Payment
If the application is successful, any processing fee is to be paid to the Halal Certification Body. |

Step 6 |
Audit
Every application will be audited by the Halal Certification Body to ensure conformity. Halal applicants are required to take corrective actions if a Non-Corformance Report is issued. |

Step 7 |
Approval
The Halal certificate will be issued by the Halal Certification Body upon approval. |

• Applicant can download existing certified Halal certification using HVE System.
• Register as Halal Applicant.
• Download Halal Certificate. |

Submit Application Form.
Submit completed compiled application to CICOT (Halal Slaughtering Supervisor). |

Step 4 |
Documents Checking
First timer Applicant need to attend the Halal training.
• If documents and certificate are completed, Halal Slaughtering Supervisor will supervising slaughtering.
• If incomplete, repeat step 2 and step 3. |

Step 5 |
Documents Approval
• Upon approval, CICOT will appoint audit committee.
• Non-approval application will be referred to Council of Halal Scholars (Ulama). |

Step 6 |
Audit
• Audit process will be conducted by CICOT auditors training team.
• Auditors perform on-site, collect sample, sent to Halal Standard Institution of Thailand.
• Upon approval, results sent to CICOT for stamp with Halal Logo.
• Upon disapproval, applicant is required to take corrective action and resubmit application. |

Approval
• Upon approval the applicant will be notified and receive Halal Certificate.
• Non approval application will be referred to Council of Halal Scholars (Ulama). |

• Upon approval, FIANZ will appoint audit person in-charge.
• Non-approval application will be referred to Religious Advisors. |

Audit
• Audit process will be conducted by FIANZ representative.
• Audit results submitted to Halal Department Committee for approval.
Note: At places where changes are required, a follow-up visit takes place to see that the recommended changes have been effected. |

Approval
• Upon approval, contract is signed between both parties and certificate will be issued.
• Non approval application will be notified further via emails.
Note : every certificate issued is valid for 1 year. |

Applicant can download existing certified Halal certification using HVE System.
• Register as Halal Applicant.
• Download Halal Certificate.
• Compile all supported documents and certificate into a folder named “Halal Confirmation Certificate”. |

Submit compiled documents to HQC. |

Document Checking
If supporting documents and certificates :
• Completed, person in charge will be appoint for audit.
• Incomplete, repeat step 3 , step 4 and provide feedback. |

Audit
• Audit process will be conducted by HQC auditors.
• Upon completion, audit report will be produce.
• Halal Applicant take corrective actions.
Note: should there be any non-conformity, the Halal Applicant may proceed to approval process. |
